Designer Peels
A peel is a mild to moderate controlled chemical exfoliation. It is an effective tool to minimize and refine large pores, treat acne and hyperpigmentation, soften age lines, and bring back that healthy glow.
Lunch time (maintenance) peels involve minimal to no recovery. They re-hydrate and rejuvenate dull, congested skin, leaving it smoother, tighter and glowing. These are typically added to my MicroDerm / Dermaplaning treatments.
With our moderate (mid-depth) peels, such as ViPeel (Precision Plus or Precision Plus with Purify) plan on peeling! These peels address sun damaged, impure skin. They help improve tone, texture and clarity of your skin, decrease appearance of fine lines, and boost cellular rejuvenation for firmer, more youthful skin.
Physical Resurfacing
Microdermabrasion and Dermaplaning are professional physical resurfacing modalities to help exfoliate upper layers of non-viable skin cells. They are often used to reduce textural irregularities, treat acne-prone and congested skin, and improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation, wrinkles, pores and scars.
Newly exfoliated skin immediately looks and feels softer, smoother and fresher, allowing for better product penetration. Potentiated by custom enzymatic and anti-oxidant applications, these popular modalities stimulate collagen production and bring on a radiant glow.
Microdermabrasion: A diamond-tip (crystal-free) resurfacing technique to superficially abrade away the top epidermal layer. This method is not used on skin with broken capillaries, inflammatory acne or rosacea.
Dermaplaning: This โRed Carpetโ resurfacing technique has been practiced in Europe and the US for years. I was originally trained 20 years ago by BioMedic, a medical skin care company that patented a stainless steel surgical blade in the shape of a butter knife which later became known as the "butter blade" or #10S blade. Using a gentle, steady touch, Dermaplaning technique removes dead surface layers of skin as well as vellus hair (peach fuzz). This method does not make the hair grow back thicker and darker! Dermaplaning allows makeup to go on smoother and more evenly; is a good prep for chemical peels, and is safe to use with sensitive skin and in pregnancy.
